SKILLS & SCHOLARS REWARD PROGRAM
Effective August 1, 2026
The Skills & Scholars Reward Program is available to students who are enrolled in school and maintain an eligible Teen Checking or College & Career Checking account.
Teen Checking is available to students ages 14–17 and requires a minimum opening deposit of $25. College & Career Checking is available to students ages 18–24 and requires a minimum opening deposit of $50. If the student is under age 18, a parent or legal guardian must also be an owner of the account. No minimum ongoing balance is required to earn Skills & Scholars rewards.
PAY FOR GRADES REWARDS
Eligible students may earn a $50 reward for a qualifying grade report containing all A’s or a $25 reward for a qualifying grade report containing only A’s and B’s. A grade report containing any grade below a B does not qualify.
To receive a reward, the qualifying account must be open and in good standing, and the customer must be enrolled in Online Banking and eStatements.
The program has two qualification cycles:
• January 1–June 30
• July 1–December 31
Grades must be issued during the applicable qualification cycle, and the reward must be claimed during that same qualification cycle. Limit one Pay for Grades reward per eligible student per qualification cycle. The maximum Pay for Grades reward is $100 per calendar year.
A qualifying grade report must include:
The student account owner’s name;
The name of the school or college;
The date range of the grading period; and
The final grade or rating received for every class or course taken during the grading period.
The bank may request additional documentation to verify eligibility. If the school does not use the standard A, B, C, D and F grading system, the bank will determine the corresponding Pay for Grades reward amount based on the grading information provided.
GRADUATION AND COMPLETION GIFTS
An eligible student may receive a one-time $100 gift upon graduation from high school and a separate one-time $100 gift upon graduation from college or completion of an eligible trade-school program.
College graduation and trade-school completion are considered the same reward category. An eligible student may receive only one $100 postsecondary Graduation or Completion Gift. The maximum lifetime Graduation and Completion Gift is $200 per eligible student.
The graduation or completion date must occur during an applicable qualification cycle, and the gift must be claimed during that same qualification cycle.
Graduation or program completion must be verified by a diploma, official transcript, certificate of completion or other documentation acceptable to the bank. The documentation must include the student’s name, the name of the school or institution and the graduation or completion date.
REWARD PAYMENT
Pay for Grades rewards and Graduation and Completion Gifts will be paid as a credit deposited directly into the eligible Teen Checking or College & Career Checking account on the last day of the second statement cycle following the end of the applicable qualification cycle.
The account must remain open, eligible and in good standing, and the customer must remain enrolled in Online Banking and eStatements through the date the reward is credited. If the account is closed before the reward is credited, the customer will not receive the accrued reward.
